Providing Support for Children with Down Syndrome and their families

About Us

Whether you were expecting a child with Down Syndrome or not, parenthood is a challenge in itself and your new baby is perhaps posing additional questions you can’t answer. We are not here to tell you how you should be feeling, but we can offer support for whatever you are going through.

We are a parent-led support group for children with Down Syndrome and their families and would love to meet you. Our children with Down Syndrome were born between 2004 and 2006. So we are some way along the journey which you and family are about to embark on.

You might find you want to talk to someone who has been through the same experience and the emotions that you are going through now. You may have many questions about Down Syndrome and we will be happy to share our knowledge with you.

We set this group up for many reasons. In particular, we felt that when our children were born, it was difficult to find other families with children with Down Syndrome. If you need to talk we are here.
